Instructions for camera-ready
paper preparation
1. Paper preparation (evaluation version)
The
proceedings of the conference will be published by
Springer Verlag, in the
Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS)
series. All papers submitted to ICANNGA'07 should be written in English,
using the LNCS paper format.
Note that these requirements differ from the rules of previous ICANNGA
conferences! Each paper should clearly indicate the nature of its technical/scientific
contribution, and the problems, domains or environments to which it is
applicable. Authors should carefully check for correct grammar and spelling
of their manuscripts. We encourgage the authors to prepare the papers in
LaTeX, but MS Word files will also be accepted.
2. Submission
Authors should use the ICANNGA web-based
submission facility to submit their papers and fill in the information
regarding the contact author. This facility will automatically send a
submission acknowledgement, by e-mail, to the "contact author". By
submitting the paper to ICANNGA 2007 authors warrant that the paper nor any
related paper with essentially the same technical content has been submitted
to any other conference. The Authors should complete all required fields in
the proper format when registering your paper. The papers should be
submitted in Adobe Acrobat (pdf). If you do not have a copy of Adobe Acrobat,
you can use the free online service at the Adobe website
http://createpdf.adobe.com/ or the free trial from
http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.html. Exceptionally, also
PostScript (ps) and
Microsoft Word (doc, rtf) files will be accepted. The
source files are not required at this stage of submission. Before submission
please print your paper using PostScript printer and check whether the whole
text and figures are clearly visible.
3. Reviewing process
All submissions will be reviewed by at least 2
experts in the field, often the Programme Committee Members. Additional reviewers will be
consulted if necessary. Once the review process is finished, the contact
author of each paper will be notified by email of the result. He/she will
then be able to view the review reports of the paper in the ICANNGA
web-based submission facility.
4. Camera ready paper
preparation and submission
The
proceedings of the conference will be published by
Springer Verlag, in the
Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS)
series. All papers submitted to ICANNGA'07 should be written in English.
Authors should carefully check for correct grammar and spelling of their
manuscripts. Also very important is proper formatting of the paper, please
follow precisely the formatting rules set up by
Springer for LNCS series. In case of any inconsistencies the Author will
be asked to correct the formating. The best way to follow the proper
formatting is to use the LNCS templates (see below). The length of the
paper should not exceed 10 pages ! Note that, comparing to requirement
for evaluation version of the paper, there are two pages more in
camera-ready version. Please collect all the files which are required to
properly compile the final paper. Apart from text source files, it includes
also (if applicable) graphics files containing all the figures, bibliography
files etc. Include also the 'dvi', 'ps' and - obligatory ! - 'pdf' files
with the final version of the paper. All these source files should be
compressed to a single file with an extension 'zip','gz','rar' or 'tar'. This single file should be uploaded to our web-based submission facility. In
order to log-in please use the password you have received in
the e-mail which was sent to you along with the confirmation of
acceptance (see at the bottom of this e-mail). In case you didn't receive this e-mail please contact us
immidiately.
Do not forget to fill in the copyright form
which you can find below and send by fax to the conference organizers (+48
22 6256278). Note that there are
three conditions which are necessary to be met in order to complete
with the publication of your accepted paper:
1. The
complete set of properly formatted files compressed is uploaded to our web-site
2. The
copyright form, filled and signed is sent to us by fax
3. At least
one Author is registered for the conference and the payment for this Author
is made !
The deadline
for all above items is 9 January 2007 !
The data concerning the volume which have to be
included in the copyright form are the following:
Title of the Book/Volume/Conference:
Adaptive and Natural Computing Algorithms/4431,4432/ICANNGA'07
Volume Editor(s): Bartlomiej Beliczynski,
Andrzej Dzielinski, Marcin Iwanowski, Bernardete Ribeiro
Please note that the above information regarding LNCS
volume titles, numbers and volumes is already included in the copyright
form, please just fill in the part which refers to your paper and sign the
form. Separate form must be submitted for every accepted paper.
Once all the above conditions are met, your
paper will be included in the conference proceedings. Please also note that
during the preparation period Springer will send to each contact author the
final pdf of his/her paper in order to do the final check.
